Overwolf Add-ons for Robocraft

Here I will share my experiences with a few add-ons for Robocraft found in Overwolf.


RoboStat

This add-on records your RP reward from matches, matches won/lost, what robot you used, damage done each match, how many assists you got, date/time the match was played, and your overall kill/death ratio. 

It also records how well you do with each bot. It shows kills, deaths, assists, total matches, matches won/lost, date created, CPU, estimated mass, weapon/movement type, total blocks, and many other different statistics.



For the amount of information it shows, it's quite compact.

There are one or two bugs however. As you can see in the third image, you can't see any of the robot's pictures in the Robot List. Also, it might not be a bug, but it hasn't been updated to accommodate the new missile launcher. Other than that, it is very useful, especially if you want to see how well you do with each robot.

R-CONTROL


This add-on is more geared towards in-game information. It shows up-to-date information on the match you are currently playing, such as "You damaged (player) for "x" CPU", or "(player) has been spotted". The idea is to reduce tunnel vision by letting people know what's going on throughout the whole match.

As seen in the image, it also shows you how may players you've killed, how many times you've died, your level (sometimes), robot name, weapon type, amount of CPU, Robot Ranking, and the match type you're playing currently. All-in-all, it's a decent add-on for Robocraft.

Flakattack - Bane of the Plasma Bombers

About a month ago, Freejam released a weapon to help counter the current "OP" build: The Tesseract. It's a brick of the lightest blocks in the game, which still had high health for their weight, making it maneuverable and tanky. 

The weapon is a two-barreled flak cannon that shoots one projectile every half second. When the projectile gets close to a robot that is not touching the ground, it explodes, usually doing a great deal of damage.

So since the release, I have tried it out on a few robots with varying success. My first bot is a semi-triforced tank with two cannons.


It works quite well, and I'm satisfied with it. However...I thought I'd take it a step further, and make one of those guns fly.


Now this was tough to get right. The flak cannons are very heavy, so it takes a lot of rotors to get this thing off the ground. It can sort of fly with the big rotor and two other smaller ones, or all four small ones, so a couple of the small rotors are mostly there for redundancy and extra maneuverability.
